The new Michael Crichton book. Anyone read this, or is reading this?

The topic at hand is global warming, and how its a complete fraud. His books are always chock full of science to back up the suspense story, which is what makes him a great writer, but this book is almost the other way around. The suspense story is there to back up the science. I definitely need to do some fact checking when I'm done with the book (about 2/3 done now), but if this is true....its crazy.

So if anyone is at all skeptical about 'saving the planet', this book is for you. Or, if you ARE a 'save the planet' kind of person, read this and attempt to argue it....if you dare.

Global warming always kills me (soooo funny). To think that WE can say ONE way or ANOTHER WHAT the atmosphere is doing when we have ONLY been monitoring the weather for...AT BEST 150 years is ABSURD!

that and when they take into account the various temperatures around the world...they dont take into account the fact that some countries don't have as accurate readings as ours.

ALso the Earth is constantly cycling thru ice ages and warm periods....who is to say it isn't STILL warming up before the next ice age occurs???

I think it's all natural for the Earth for have warm decades and some cooler decades etc.
