Ok, just felt like posting on this for no good reason, other than I love soccer. But, the Cup was supposed to be in China I believe, but due to SARS, was scheduled to move. Now it is going to be held in the US again, where it was last held. I kinda think this is lame, I mean we just had the last one 4 years ago. Would be nice to give another country a chance. However, I don't know what all was behind the move. Obviously money played a role, but also, the US has a lot of stadiums and could probably easily allow the tournament to be held here on faily short notice. Anyways, that is all. I guess it should be nice to have it here again. I noticed at the last Women's World Cup, that some people actually showed signs of caring for the sport. I think it was due to the fact that it was held here and the US women are good compaired to the other countrie. America loves winners. Anyways, even the homeless guy who lived in the mop room at the place I worked at at the time was pumped about the final game, I found that pretty impressive.
