I have been on a huge melody metal kick lately so I've been listening to;

TesseracT

Isis

BTBAM (some the of the stuff is pretty chill and heavy)

Animals As Leaders

Now the question is what have YOU been listening to lately?

I mostly listen to 60's, 70's and some 80's rock and metal. All the top bands of those times are in there.

I am not a fan of Rap at all and i don't care for that shout rock, but that's just me...LOL

Gogol Bordello. I recommend it, check it out on grooveshark. From what I've heard of them, Trans-Continental Hustle is my favorite album.

Listened to some OutKast today, it was inspired by this:

Other than that, I regularly listen to nearly everything. I have more older music than newer music, since I don't acquire music that often.

The last few songs I listened to on a randomly generated playlist of my mp3's include:

Jim Croce - Original Hard Luck Story

Green Day - Burnout

The Doors - Break on Through

Five Iron Frenzy - Blue Comb '78

Bruce Springsteen - Born in the U.S.A.

Elton John - Tiny Dancer

Evanescense - Good Enough

Red Hot Chili Peppers - So Much I

Canned Heat - Going Up the Country

BTW anybody live in Austin or anywhere in the Southwest, my cousin has a band I'm happy to recommend
